Children are often fascinated by the Police, the science that is performed behind the scenes of a crime scene and the mystery in each case. At Zakon we offer practical days where the children can interact with real police detectives and solve a mystery where the students can use their new knowledge and skills. The event is very interesting for the children and it helps them to develop a lot of different skills which can be used in their everyday life.

Our staff of experienced police detectives create different scenarios where the children are guided on how to solve them. They learn new skills such as how science aids an investigation, the scenarios are also created to challenge them into thinking outside of the box and using their imagination which they all find really enjoyable.

The activities that take place all start with the introduction to the scenario, which is an investigation of a ‘real’ grizzly death. The children look at searching for any signs around the crime scene (the classroom) that could help their case and lead them to solving the mystery. They also go through deprivation of liberty (arresting) and DNA. All these activities bring together the skills that the children have learned and give them a chance to use them in our scenario. Our staff of police detectives are engaging all children to make sure they are all given many opportunities, to try out all the activities that are prepared.

The lesson that we offer at Zakon is perfect to mix learning with some fun for the children and it is also very flexible which means that the activities can be adapted to meet different school topics, such as science, crime and punishment. At the end of this exciting day the children all receive a certificate to remember the day and a whole host of investigation materials to show off to their families and friends. The teaching is one full day as our team travels to your school and fit to the usual school timings. This offer for an amazing day full of entertaining lessons for the children comes for just £595, including all the materials and teaching fees.
