There are about 37,000 house fires a year in the UK, the majority of which are caused by electrical equipment misuse, mainly cooking appliances. Many of these fires are caused because people are not enough educated on such important topic. Many people would underestimate a fire, but it is really important to think and act smart in situations like this because it could cost lives.

Fire is crucial for the development of human society, and it has become an important part of human civilization. Among different types of disasters, fire constitutes a significant threat to life and property in urban and rural areas. Fires could also be a threat at the workplace or even outside, which means everyone should be educated to be safe and make the others feel comfortable. Employers have a duty of care to their staff, customers and visitors, and it is imperative that fire safety is not compromised.

The main purpose of a fire management system is to create and manage a plan that is appropriate for fire safety, to create a comfortable and safe atmosphere. There are many laws that help to improve the fire safety in the UK, however none of them are better than getting educated on such an important topic. At Zakon, we offer a CPD Fire Safety Principles course at just £29 inc VAT. The course is 4 hours in length however it is possible for it to be done flexibly to fit around our schedule.
