This excellent guide from the NRCPD helps in maintaining professional practice after qualification
Here at Zakon Training we have seen hundreds of public service professional interpreters at our workshops over the last five years and are privileged to see many of them annually as they strive to improve their practice. Questions are often raised as to how to not only develop, but also how to record and evidence CPD.
Our amazing colleagues at the NRCPD have published a really useful guide which covers points such as requirements, planning, types of CPD and how to evidence and evaluate it. It also contains a section on where interpreters can access CPD events are we are delighted to be included on Page 34.
To access a copy of the guide, please click here CPD Guidance for NRCPD Registrants
We are getting many requests from interpreters for details of our next Interpreting Police Interviews, Modern Slavery Investigations and Court Skills Workshops, please be assured that they will return once the situation around Covid19 becomes clearer. We are aiming to potentially release dates in January, to register your interest and preferred location please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will attend the place with the highest votes!
Enjoy reading the guidance and we hope to see you again soon.
