Five of Zakon Training's team were proud to represent the company at the superbly organised Business Hive Challenge awards organised by Mark Webb and his team at the fantastic Healing Manor Hotel near Grimsby. This fiercely contested day wasn’t about work, it was for groups of local friends and businesses to get together and celebrate an event that is now cemented annually in everybody’s diaries.

Honed on a moderate intake of Tacos and Gin, the Zakon team had a chance to practice a number of fun events such as golf putting, archery, basketball and shooting all facilitated by small local businesses.

Zakon were represented by Simon, Phil, Kate, Paul and Graham and it was a true team effort that secured the top spot. Kate's clear experience in Golf shone through, Paul shot several hoops whilst Grahams eye for archery proved devastating for the opposition. Simon excelled in the shooting whilst the steady hand of nominated driver Phil led the way in the buzz line.

Representing the team, Simon said “This wasn’t about work, this was a chance for us to get together for a day of fun and bond as a team which we did. Kate and Graham are new to us and I felt it was important for us to do something together away from the workplace. We are already in boot camp planning the defence of our title in 2020. A big thank you to all of the other teams and the organisers who made this possible”.
