When You Wish Upon a Star is a fantastic charity that makes dreams come true for seriously ill children.

On Saturday 10 June they are hosting an event on the sister train to the Venice-Simplon Orient-Express, the Belmond Northern Belle, with a gala full day trip to Chester. Departing from Scunthorpe and Grimsby stations, with brunch and Bellini on the outbound journey, and with leisure time in Chester. 7 course gala tasting menu, welcome glass of champagne and half a bottle of wine per person on the return. £340 per person, payable in two instalments.

Gemma Summerfield, a fundraising assistant for the charity says that "we still have a number of seats left on this trip and we need to be able to fill them so that we can raise the money we need to continue making very special dreams come true." She further added that "it really does mean a lot to me and fingers crossed if we can fill a few more seats on the trip we can make another very special dream come true for one of our local Wish Children."
