Yesterday was the International Day for the Abolition of Slavery and the Guardian newspaper have recently published a number of articles highlighting a number of issues around human slavery.
Everyone should do their part to help eradicate slavery from the world. Here in the UK the Modern Slavery Act goes some way to help address the problem and demonstrates the UK governments intention to do all it can to address the issues. This excellent article in the Guardian explains human trafficking, which can be part of slavery.
