This course is aimed at experienced interviewers who are required to investigate major crimes or particularly complex cases.
Ideally delegates on this course should be experienced investigators who have completed a serious and complex interviewing course, or at least have sufficient knowledge and experience of serious and complex investigations.
This course is 10 days in duration, with 5 days being more witness focused, and the remaining 5 days more suspect focused; therefore it can be broken down into two separate modules.
This specialist course equips delegates with the knowledge and skills required to interview victims, witnesses and suspects for very serious offences. Practical scenarios are utilised to test the delegates ability to deal with complex material, under pressure, with challenging interviewees. Professional actors are used to add realism and maximise the quality of learning.
