Zakon Training are delighted to announce that we will be running a Police Interview workshop aimed at interpreters. This is suitable for both experienced interpreters and those new to role or indeed those wanting an insight into possibly working in police/court settings. The workshop is suitable for both spoken and sign language interpreters and our highly acclaimed workshops have received great feedback from the vast mix of roles and experiences of our delegates.
The workshop includes inputs on both witness and suspect interviews with interactive exercises. The training includes recent legal and procedural updates, particularly those affecting interpreters. The training is led by an advanced police interviewer with 30 years’ experience of serious and major crime and particular experience of working with and training interpreters. The workshop will be running from 10-4pm and includes time to network. Certificates of attendance will follow as well as a whole host of reference materials from the workshop for continuing CPD.
The venue is located in Farnborough and is priced at £150 including VAT, food, refreshments, training and all materials. The most cost effective way to book is by emailing bookings@zakon.co.uk for a booking form and paying by bank transfer. Alternatively, you can book and pay with credit/debit card via Eventbrite here: - http://tiny.cc/FarnboroughWorkshop (Eventbrite charge apply).
