Disclosure has long been a highly contentious area of law and process subject to intense scrutiny within court. Many high-profile cases have collapsed in court, and this has led to widespread criticism of both police investigators and prosecutors. Guidelines, critical case reviews and judicial rulings can make keeping up with changes exceptionally difficult. Warwickshire Police recognised that current training needed to be reassessed and Zakon were pleased to be selected to run these sessions to investigators working at the highest end of criminality.

Our inaugural event took place on the 11^th and 12^th of September, here’s a snapshot of the feedback: -

The two members of our team that deliver Disclosure Training have decades of police experience, working as Disclosure Officers at all levels of criminality. Supporting this, they have legal/investigative degrees/masters and so teach the law from a practitioner’s viewpoint which sets them apart and results in such positive feedback from clients. They have a combined training experience of 40 years training both as police detectives, and privately since 2015 when Zakon Training was established.
