This 1 day course is designed to show delegates how to make and record key decisions ethically, such that they will withstand scrutiny by any third party.
This course starts with an introduction to the importance of recording both decisions and the underpinning rationale, before moving on to the definition of what actually constitutes a decision and the impact factors that can have an affect upon the decision maker.
The day is very interactive, and involves the delegates in a number of excursuses where they get to practice making and recording decisions in a fun, and non pressurised environment. We culminate with some example scenarios that will be based on the likely situations the delegates are faced with in their respective workplaces. They then get to put the lessons learned during the day into practice on these scenarios, and receive real time feedback from the trainer.
The trainers that we use for this day all have experience of working in high pressure jobs, where decisions that they have made are tested to the full, and therefore have to be ethical, robust and defensible.
